If you are on the zero waste journey, no doubt you want to keep this company in your radar!
We all know, by this point, how dramatic is the issue with plastic.
An issue that we cannot ignore any longer and requires immediate action in order to find a solution.
The awareness that tons of plastic end up in landfills – and most in the oceans- should be enough to let us re-evaluate our daily habits, starting from the smallest things: just like a toothpaste tube!
It has been estimated that at least 1 billion toothpaste tubes are thrown away every year. Well…Bite can wipe out this scary number!
Lindsay McCormick- CEO and Founder of Bite – impressed by this numbers started to look for valid alternatives, only to discover that commercial toothpaste are filled in chemicals.
That was the turning point.
Lindsay envisioned this little refillable glass jar and small tablets of solid toothpaste. All you have to do is bite the tablet and then just proceed to brush your teeth exactly like any other toothpaste.
I started using Bite only a month ago or so, but they had me at the very first…Bit!
At this moment they offer 2 flavors – Mint Charcoal and Mint- and a refill subscription program (please, visit the official website for details https://bitetoothpastebits.com/ )
Since I wasn’t sure about the flavor, I opted for the trial Duo and received both and…they are living up to my expectations!
To be completely honest, the first time, the powder of the crushed tablet gave me a weird feeling, only to disappear immediately after, when it started to foam. Both flavors are good (maybe I slightly tend for the Mint one), they foam up very well and leave a clean and fresh felling.
As if it wasn’t enough, here’s the bar that raises the stakes: by dissolving the tablet in water it can be used as mouthwash as well.
I really believe this product is a game changer: vegan, cruelty free, 100% made of natural ingredients and completely waste free.
No doubt I will continue to use this product in my daily routine simply because it’s a product that comes with all the goodness in it and it’s definitely one of the best ally in my attempt to save the planet!
